Munnar is one of the beautiful hill stations located in Kerala. Famous for its mesmeric tea gardens and never-ending photogenic locations, Munnar excites tourists. The whole day will be spent in exploring different places in and around Munnar. At first, we will be heading towards Rajamala, a charming hill station located in Idduki. It offers its visitors with varied flora and fauna. Rajamala is blessed with many vantage points. Eravikulam National Park is home to the rare species of Nilgiri Tahr. Located in the Western Ghats, this national park also houses Nilgiri Langur and Indian Bison.

Apart from the splendid collection of flora and fauna, the park contains the highest peak of South India, Anamudi. Some parts of the mountains are covered with Neelakurinji flowers. These flowers render a blue look to the mountain slopes by forming a carpet on it. Next in the itinerary is Tea Museum, which was established to portray the different events related to tea making in Munnar. One can also see the conversion of manual to the mechanical process of tea making here. Tea gardens are an integral part of Munnar and hence this museum is a must visit. Last but not the least Matupetty Dam, constructed for conserving water, has turned into a preferred tourist destiny. You can enjoy water sports, nature walks, and of course the tranquil environment. One of the major attractions is the lake where you can enjoy boat riding.
